Value wise I 39 d think this pistol being in at least 95 or better original condition would sell for more than 1000 to the right buyer. Shipment dates range from Septemthrough Late 1951 with a few outliers later.

Currently, it should contain the overwhelming majority of serial numbers manufactured from the beginning through approximately 2008. I've been working over the last couple months to have as complete of a database of numbers as possible. Just wanted to share should be a significantly more complete database for Colt manufacture dates, by serial number, on the Colt website.
